What is thisth mine eyes doth see? O! But it is William Shakesbeard!

A work mate of mine has a bust of the ol' Shakesalt himself so I thought I might as well put it to work and do some modeling for me! And a lovely time it was.

Yargh, it be Water Color.

This past Saturday I attended a wonderful little Watercolor Workshop that was presented by Nathan Fowkes (wow, his work is amazing. Great teacher, too.)

Real fun stuff, but I'll tell you what - it ain't easy breaking that horse. So I've got my work cut out for me.

This first one here is what I did in class. The next one is a quick sketch I did at sunset Sunday night.

Vasquez Rocks Studies

(Studies in pencil, charcoal, and pastel.)
